The Position:

 

Chameleon Integrated Services is currently looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to support one of our clients in Bridgeton, MO. 

 

This position requires a Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain secret clearance if needed.

 

Overview:

 

Chameleon is looking for a full time Cybersecurity Engineer with experience working with isolated and/or partially connected networks and equipment. The candidate will join a team of security and non-security engineers in developing exciting new products and supporting existing products.

 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Be able explain to other stakeholders various industry and federal standards, policies and best practices and how they apply to existing and new products, services and networks
  • Have working knowledge of DoD and NIST information assurance regulations and documentation
  • Have experience creating and documenting security policies, procedures, and plans, including RMF and NIST 800-53
  • Have experience planning and executing security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Experience automating assessments, vulnerability scans and security tools and procedures into product development lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining secure network environments, including work with network equipment, server and client computing devices from a variety of manufacturers

Responsibilities:


  • Conduct cybersecurity engineering by generating recommendations, designing, implementing, and transitioning solutions to improve cybersecurity posture
  • Plan and execute vulnerability and compliance assessments, utilize ACAS or similar scanners and SCAP assessment tools
  • Remediate security findings across systems and networks
  • Support various stakeholders in implementing security standards and best practices, create robust technical solutions across multiple technology areas
  • Take a leading role in guiding stakeholders through implementing and adhering to Risk Management Framework
  • Perform risk analysis on products and services throughout various phases of their design and implementation
  • Provide security support to all environments, provide anti-virus solutions, execute STIG checklists
  • Review and maintain cyber security policies and participate in certification and accreditation activities
  • Maintain system status information
  • Execute the development of required cybersecurity program documentation employing the federal Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Certs Required:

 

  • Bachelors of Science degree
  • CISSP certification or industry equivalent 
  • 5 years of progressive experience in cyber security and information assurance
